Here are 6 horror anime you can watch tonight (or on any other night, really – but it’s spookier on Halloween muahahaha!)

#1 Jigoku Shoujo

jigoku-shoujo

Episodes: 26
Aired: Oct 2005 – Apr 2006
Genres: Horror, Mystery, Psychological, Supernatural
Studio: Studio Deen

In this anime you have the ability to send someone straight to Hell. You can do this by visiting a mysterious website called “Jigoku Tsuushin”, but you must have a strong aversion towards someone in order to find this website. Ai Enma is the Hell Girl no one knows much about, who will send the person you hate to Hell under one condition: it doesn’t matter whether the person you hate deserves this, your suffering must move her in some way in order for her to fulfill the task and once she accepts it, you must spend your afterlife in Hell as well…

#2 High School Of The Dead

high-school-of-the-dead

Episodes: 12
Aired: Jul 2010 – Sep 2010

Genres: Action, Ecchi, Horror, Supernatural
Studio: Madhouse

This may not be the spookiest anime you’ve ever seen (and you’ve probably already seen it), but it’ll definitely fill you up with adrenaline!

I mean, just imagine yourself in this situation: you’re at school and suddenly everyone turns into disgusting undead creatures. This happened to Takashi Kimuro, and he was even forced to kill his best friend after he was bitten and immediately turned into a zombie. His main goal now is to protect his best friend’s girlfriend. They manage to escape their school, but that doesn’t help them much either: the entire city that was once their home turned into a city of the undead.

Together they find other people who haven’t been infected yet and try to win this war against the zombies.
