Our main characters Katsuhira and Chidori already have to deal with their own problems, with Katsuhira being bullied and Chidori trying to help him. They become Kiznaivers, which means that from now on they are connected with each other – they all feel the pain from one another; that means if one gets hurt, the other five will feel the pain as well.
Now they are forced to be the test objects for a project that should make world peace come true – but being connected 24/7 is much harder than it seemed at first, and now they have to work together in order to keep living their normal lives.

Nobody knows whether she’s a youkai or a human, and her presence seems to disturb the peace that has been lasting in this city for a long time now.

Regardless, Araragi tries to live the life of a normal student, with the help of his friend and the class president, Tsubasa Hanekawa.

When fellow classmate Hitagi Senjougahara falls down the stairs and is caught by Araragi, the boy realizes that the girl is unnaturally weightless. Despite Senjougahara’s protests, Araragi insists he help her, deciding to enlist the aid of Oshino, the very man who had once helped him with his own predicament.
